Many vendors are starting poured digital slate or tablet to the market. Samsung is one vendor that introduced its first tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab. This Tablet PC has a performance equivalent to the same Apple Ipad. Not just a tablet, Galaxy Tab also features telephone and other services that are not found on other tablets.
For the most part, technology reviewers, in their initial hands-on impressions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, have been cautiously enthusiastic. In a nutshell, the Galaxy Tab is smaller and lighter (though rumors suggest a couple of larger editions will debut before the year's end). It has the same speed processor but twice the RAM. Like the iPad, the Galaxy Tab comes with different options for internal storage. It also, however, supports up to 32GB of expandable storage. The Galaxy Tab has two cameras a rear-facing 3.2-megapixel camera and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video chatting. Samsung claims up to 7 hours of video playback for the Galaxy Tab.
In terms of software, the Galaxy Tab's Android 2.2 operating system gives the device a number of selling points Apple's iPad can't claim, including full-featured multitasking, support for Adobe Flash, and unrestricted access to applications. But also, Samsung Galaxy Tab that has just launched some time ago in order to compete with Apple iPad was slightly problematic at the screen when used to run a number of Android applications. Samsung's screen resolution on 1024 x 600 Tabs Galaxy was unable to run multiple applications on the Android Market to perfection. This is due to the running application can only be performed at a maximum resolution of 800 x 400 only.
The problem arises because Android is especially true Froyo Android 2.2 or devices designed for smartphones that have a smaller screen and less than optimal when used for tablet devices.
